Join us for a WWII-Style party, open to the public and free for Veterans to attend at the Historic American Legion Post 43 in Hollywood on January 17th. From the moment guests enter the event, they will be treated to something special. Our goal is to recreate the magic of the Hollywood Canteen that operated during the 1940’s as a club offering food, dancing and entertainment for servicemen, usually on their way overseas. The evening will feature dressed up Pin-Ups, Burlesque Dancers, Comedy, Variety Acts, Soulful Lounge singers, WWII-Era Celebrity Impersonators, raffle-ticket selling beauties and more than a few surprises! With entertainment & atmosphere around every turn, guests will feel like they stepped into the 1940’s. A great night to enjoy with your sweetheart (or meet one). Vintage Attire Encouraged.
